When u have outdoor plants and frost u should always cover them, at least once it gets dark, but alas what’s done is done. In regards to the oncoming storm, I would cover them because it sounds like they have already been weakened by the cold. A thin sheet of plastic with a few holes punched in it with a good sized rock holding down every corner should help to do the trick, just don’t forget to put some stakes or sticks in the ground first if u don’t want to end up with smashed plants. The rainwater and beating will pool up and weigh down on them. Either way good luck, and I hope your seeds do come up!
