    The seed for protection and makes it is coating surrounding the seed for protection and makes it.

    Some very tiny seeds are pelleted (have a coating) to make them easier to see and handle. Some seeds are so tiny that breathing on them can blow them away! If you’re very patient you don’t need it, but it sure is helpful. Caution: it makes them round and they tend to roll around a lot!
