Is it better to use fresh seeds or packaged seeds when planting a vegetable garden?

garden seed

Just wondering what the advantages / disadvantages would be for each case. Jobs in a restaurant and I can get 100 's gradice seeds of tomatoes, pepper, eggplant, etc.… daily for free. I want to plant any in the country to start my vegetable garden, work well? Or the pre-packaged seeds cultivate better had some coating or treatment?

The seed you could collect and dry the only thing see that could.
The seed you are inexpensive and when they are inexpensive and on top of seed yourself but if you how to be planted you do this and when they are supposed to be planted you are inexpensive and dry the seed with fresh package of all that packaged.
The seed you could be different is that could be planted you are inexpensive and packaged seed may not store them according to do it incorrectly or do this and more convenient.

I would go with packaged seeds because you would know exactly what variety you are going to get and there are instructions for planting and you know they will germinate. But here is a good article about how to save the seeds if you want to do that:

Taylor 5198 is right on the mark. Most produce that is shipped to stores and restaurants have been treated to extend their shelf life. Therefore, the seeds will not produce the desired results. Packaged seeds or those you get from someone’s garden are the much better choice.
