Can I grow potatoes in my garden?

I have a very small garden in a suburb, about 20 'by 60.' He has good sunlight. Most is a lawn with a small board full of plants. Is there any likelihood at all that I could grow enough potatoes to eat so that I don 't need to buy from a supermarket - or is completely unrealistic, just a pipe dream? I was wondering if I could buy the seeds (or whatever you need to buy!) And just proves that cultivates just a few potatoes at or in a corner… to keep my bills down and also by pure curiousity… I am the first to admit that I do not know absolutely nothing about gardening… or cultivate.
